Traditional & Digital Caricature Entertainment for Events
Live caricature is a natural process, and maximum speed is achieved after the first few drawings. Portrait time also depends on the model's complexity and how many details I need to add (glasses, beards, hats, etc.). Usually, drawing kids is faster, and drawing adults is slower.
I usually work with groups of 2 or 3 people on A3-size paper when asked. Most people don't have the patience to wait for more during a party, and the drawing can end up unfinished. More than 5 portraits on a sheet, it is not advisable during a live event; this is suitable for studio work. Additionally, group portraits are more complex and time-consuming than single portraits.
After my first drawing, I usually already have people waiting, and I get very busy; still, this is an artistic process, and the figures are indicative. Above all, I focus on quality and delivering a great time to your guests.

For a successful live caricature event, it is necessary to have:
1. One chair for me and one for my model, or two if I have to draw couples.
I don't walk around to draw people; this can severely decrease the speed and quality of the drawing process. As I'm pretty busy during most events, this is also not necessary. I choose to draw by sitting at live events as I'm interested in delivering the best at the highest speed. Still, I can approach people who are free for a drawing, and I can move around the room with my drawing board wherever there is a place to sit.
2. A small table is necessary to keep my paper and tools accessible and to present some drawings for your guests to understand what to expect. For Digital Caricature, the table will need to be close to a socket so I can plug in the printer. Service is available indoors only. Sunlight can reduce screen visibility and make the drawing process very challenging or impossible. The small format is suitable mostly for single portraits only. 3.1 Indoor - Reasonable lighting in the drawing area is required; a place close to a window or a light source is best. Decent ambient lighting is also acceptable. If the general light is drastically reduced during the event, for dancing, for example, please ensure that the drawing area still has sufficient light.
3.2 Outdoor (>20°C) - Traditional caricature can be performed outdoors, but a shaded area is a must! Sunlight can be very powerful, and its reflection on paper can make the drawing process very challenging or impossible. Also, if the sun is too hot, there is no way to perform to the highest standards for hours. Keep in mind that there can be a few other factors that can affect the drawing process outdoors, like cold, wind, and humidity, which can affect the paper quality.

Why do I need to arrive earlier?
I always arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour early to discuss every detail and to be sure we can set up the event in the best way.
* If necessary, I can help with choosing the best place for drawing.
* I display some drawings, usually on a table, for your guests to know what to expect.
* Changing clothes, washing hands after travelling, etc.
* Photos and video recordings of the live caricature event can be taken with the permission of your guests for my art business, and as a nice memory for them. For this purpose, in some cases, a camera tripod can be installed.

I aim to make your guests happy by delivering the best live art experience. This means great portraits for as many people as possible. The most effective way of drawing caricatures live is by sitting - a conclusion after hundreds of live caricature events.
Usually, after making the first drawing, I can't leave my chair for hours because of the high demand, so walking around is most of the time not necessary; moreover, it can be a waste of precious time and also slow down the drawing speed.
Still, I can approach guests to invite them for a caricature, if necessary.
Your logo & branding
I'm happy to print a logo or text in black and white for £5 per 10 sheets, for every hour of the event. The logo or text can be printed at the bottom of the page on the A4-size paper I use for single portraits.
Unfortunately, I can't print on the A3-size paper I use for multiple portraits.
Alternatively, I'm happy to add stickers featuring your logo or other symbols, provided by you, free of charge.
